Exciting news for residents of Sparks, Nevada
The city has once again launched a wonderful initiative to enhance green spaces and beautify neighborhoods by giving away free Moana Grown trees from June 15, 2025 – July 31, 2025. This initiative not only aims to increase the city’s green cover but also encourages residents to take part in enriching their local environment.
100 trees will be given away during each giveaway period.
Giveaway period 1: June 15 – June 30, 2025
Giveaway period 2: July 1 – July 14, 2025
Giveaway period 3: July 15 – July 31, 2025
The City of Sparks is offering free Moana Grown trees to its residents, each valued at $99. This generous program allows residents to select one tree from a variety of species, providing a perfect opportunity to enhance their property with a beautiful and environmentally beneficial addition.
How It Works
- Enter the Giveaway: Vouchers for the free trees will be issued through a drawing system. Qualifying Sparks residents can enter from May 15- June 5, 2025, here. Winners will be pulled on June 5, 2025. 100 winners will be notified during three different timeframes and emailed a voucher on:
- June 15 (redeem voucher June 15– June 30)
- July 1 (redeem voucher July 1–July 14) or
- July 15 (redeem voucher July 15–July 31)
- The digital vouchers can be redeemed one time only, trees will not be issued without a valid voucher!
- Visit Moana Nursery: With your voucher in hand (during your designated redemption dates), head over to Moana Nursery Pyramid Way Location, 3397 Pyramid Way, Sparks. This is where you can redeem your voucher and select your preferred tree. Please note that the trees will not be available at any other Moana Nursery Locations.
- Choose Your Tree: There are five fantastic tree varieties available on a first-come, first-served basis. Residents can choose from:
- Plant and Enjoy: Once you’ve selected your tree, it’s time to plant it in your yard! Enjoy watching it grow and flourish over the years, adding shade, beauty, and value to your home.
