Our Summer Young Farmers Camp is a unique program that prioritizes leadership and teamwork. Campers in the program will work on week-long projects while making new friends and learning about the natural world!
Caution: Construction Zone $265 June 20 – 23 (no camp Monday 6/19)
Engineering week: How will you frame the future? Simple and complex projects will have young farmers solving problems and designing their way through engineering week!
Everyday is Earth Day $265 June 26 – 30
Sustainability week: Help us build a better world! Come together to uncover the ways we can increase sustainability in our own lives, and how these changes add up globally!
Kingdom Animalia $265 July 3 – 7 (no camp Tuesday 7/4)
Animal week: It’s a week of wildlife wonders! Find out things you never knew about creatures great and small, furry and feathered, slimy and scaled!
Science Fair $265 July 10 – 14
Science week: Put on your Einstein wig, it’s time to make explosions and observations! Become a mad scientist in our glorious garden laboratory…Muah-ha-ha-ha… MUAH-HA-HA-HA
Hunger Games $265 July 17 – 21
Element week: Do you volunteer as tribute? You will face many challenges and games this week as you discover the strengths and knowledge of each district and develop your own.
Farm Food Truck $265 July 24 – 28
Cooking week: Have you got what it bakes to survive cooking week? Craft a menu, test recipes, and create an Urban Roots food truck!
Farmer’s Market $265 July 31 – August 4
Farmer’s market week: Learn how to harvest, wash, and sell produce at a farmer’s market planned and run entirely by you!
Comics, Crafts, and Creativity $265 August 7 – 11
Art week: Every day this week our budding artists will paint, draw, sculpt, and more! Campers will explore famous artists’ lives and add their artsy agriculture to our garden of art!
