Tomatoes are supposed to be one of the easiest (and most delicious) crops you can grow and are both a great starting point for new gardeners and a staple for experienced ones. But with all the information online about how easy it is to grow tomatoes, they can still be a bit difficult to grow well in our northern Nevada climate. Our wide temperature swings, lack of moisture, and particular pests makes growing tomatoes in the Reno area a slightly different – though not at all impossible – feat.
