What? Join us for an elevated Ladybug Release experience designed for kids and families! This interactive garden adventure takes participants on a fun scavenger hunt throughout the nursery, with hands-on activities, educational discovery stations, take-home goodies, and a special secret-word challenge.
Your adventure begins with a scavenger hunt card that guides you through 8 unique stations across the store. At each station, you’ll collect a letter to help reveal the secret word. Once you complete the card, show it to our team to claim your exclusive Ladybug Release t-shirt! Participation in the scavenger hunt is encouraged but not required to receive your shirt, and no additional purchases are necessary to complete the activity.

Hands-On Activity Stations:
Plant a Pot – Create your own take-home marigold planter using a 4” Moana-grown nursery pot, Moana Made soil, and a marigold plant. All planting materials are included with your ticket.
Bird Feeder Fun – Build a DIY pinecone bird feeder and learn how to attract birds to your garden! Materials include a pinecone, hanging string, suet, and birdseed. Plus enjoy 40% off no mess bird food during the event.

Stem Studio Wrap – Kids can get creative and build a mini flower arrangement using 4 fresh-cut flower stems included with their ticket.
Release Your Ladybugs – Each participant receives a small container of ladybugs to release in the garden. If you purchase some ladybugs to take home, your event card also includes tips for properly releasing ladybugs and helping them thrive in your yard.
Educational Discovery Stations:
Greenhouse Discovery – Explore the fascinating world of carnivorous plants and learn how plants like Venus fly traps can help control pests naturally. $5 Venus fly traps will be available day of the event only!
Herb Scent Station – Can you identify herbs using only scent and touch? Test your senses while exploring a variety of fresh herbs and vegetables. If you discover a favorite, herbs and veggies will be available during the event for Buy 5, Save 35%.
Find a Flower Friend – Learn about the important role milkweed plays in the high desert ecosystem and how it supports monarch butterflies, ladybugs, and other pollinators. Milkweed plants will be available during the event as Buy 1, Get 1 Free ($16.99).
Photo Spot – Snap a photo during your adventure, share it on social media, and tag @moananursery!
T-Shirt Information – A commemorative Ladybug Release t-shirt is included with each event card. This is a family-focused event, so only toddler and youth sizes will be available. Specific shirt sizes are not guaranteed with purchase.
