WATERWISE TIPS

  • Detect and repair all leaks in your irrigation system.
  • Water the lawn or garden during the coolest part of the day (early morning is best). Do not water on windy days unless it’s by drip.
  • Water trees and shrubs, which have deep root systems, longer and less frequently than shallow-rooted plants that require smaller amounts of water more often.
  • Set sprinklers to water the lawn or garden only – not the street or sidewalk - to avoid runoff.

All Seminars are on Saturday at 10 AM at the Moana Lane store.

What You'll Need:

  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans Italian-style diced tomatoes
  • 1 (19 ounce) can cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
  • 10 ounces fresh spinach, washed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

Step by Step:

Cook the pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente.

Meanwhile, combine tomatoes and beans in a large non-stick skillet.

Add spinach to the sauce; cook for 2 minutes or until spinach wilts, stirring constantly.

Serve sauce over pasta, and sprinkle with feta.
